Hi guys, just wanted your opinion on selling bikes, I guess the world we live in these days has left me a bit worried about advertising bike for sale, Is there any advise you guys can share? Do you trust sites like eBay, and your local add sites?? I see bike thefts are on an all time high and I work in the security industry my self so I do see it happen first hand, and has sort of left me wanting to just leave the bike in the shed It's an old ish naked ST4 so not worth a vast amount of money but I just can't bring my self to do it .....
I've sold my wifes car, my old 999, a couple of pushbikes, two guitars and a load of other shite in the last year. Be honest in your ads, insist on cash, don't allow test rides without holding their cash first, resist those early offers, mostly bullshit in my experience. Trust no one until you have their money.
