  1. Hi,

Should have known better! This is what happens when after 7 yrs away from bikes, (kids and such) your Diavel owning mate drags you to Italy to visit the Ducati Factory for his birthday!

Result: two months of 'justification issues', Monster 1100 test rides-followed by one shiney new Streetfighter 848!!?!?

Needless to say, in know jack all about this bike other than I love it !! Just had first service, R&G rad protectors DP tank guard and DP mini fly screen fitted by dealer.
Usual questions I guess, where can I get black bars, does anyone have bar end mirrors fitted. Pipes in due course, Local ride outs from Suffolk/Essex etc
Ps.. How do you stop the rubber water hoses going 'cloudy' and white after cleaning! Grrr
    cheers.

Btw..if you do get a chance to visit factory,..do it!
It's quite safe, I'm just weak and easily led!!:D

  2. welcome

bars - I bought some Rizoma or if you like yours get them powder coated for a few quid

I have bar end square Rizoma mirrors - some pics on my profile

Cloudy hoses - you must be using the wrong shampoo - try Vulcanet wipes followed by some dash board spray

  3. Welcome aboard :upyeah:

  4. Welcome.

Char will be able to advise on the entire Rizoma catalog should you require any guidance. :upyeah: She has a very tasty 848.

  5. Hello and welcome!

  6. Hi and welcome. Bit of WD40 on a cloth will sort the rubber hoses just fine. Or a bit of tesco basic furniture polish on a cloth.

  7. Hello and welcome

  8. hello mate , nice to have you on board , hoses , don't worry ,that'll be one of your numerous upgrades , silicone for sir me thinks.

  9. Thanks all,...Furniture polish, WD40 and Rizomu (?) goodies it is then. Powder coating seems the way ahead too.
