Hi All, Does anyone have any recommendations for 1198s servicing close to Suffolk? The closest Ducati main dealer to me is Seastar near Norwich but also found Moto V in Essex and Carl Harrsion in Harleston via a quick search. Anyone had experience of these? Ta
Carl Harrison gets good reviews from people I know here in Norfolk. Not used him personally but called in a few times to kick some tyres and have a chat. Always found him very helpful.
Glen Moto v Colchester, Used him a few times over the years and last year he did the Desmo service on my 848 and 748 and is a wealth of knowledge.
I am an automotive engineer by trade and rarely use anyone else to work on any of my vehicles. Having said that due to a lack of time and space during a recent house extension and arrival of new baby, I used glen at Moto v for a belt service on my 1098. Very professional conscientious and fairly priced. I will be using him again as I’m getting lazy. 100% recommend.
Just thought I would add a recommendation for Glen at Moto V. Had my 1198 serviced, belt change and MOT last week. As others had already mentioned wealth of knowledge and a nice guy too also sorted a few other bits for me whilst he had the bike. Handy to have a good indy not too far away
Would use Carl or Moto v over Seastar any day. They are over rated, over priced and under staffed, they never even answer the phone, and no response on email. Shoddy service from a Ducati dealer is not good enough, the place looks great but seems to be run on a shoe string.
