Ses rear sets

  1. Anyone fitted any? Do they alter the position much? I struggle with my knees ( bike accidents ;). )but I hate the look of the std footrests. Bits are being bought and the upgrades Are afoot

  2. I have some race pattern SES rear sets fitted to my SS project, they are good quality, the position is slightly up and back.

  3. I see what you did there

  4. If you don't mind the standard position, but hate the standard pegs, it's probably worth you looking to get some machined.

if your knees are playing dicky then even a shift of +25mm up and a few back is still really noticeable. The adjustable eccentric ones will have a range of say 10+15mm, but its the baseline position that's important as if its already up and back by 10-20mm in the extremes your ankles would be stuffed up your arse.

first question to ask is what do you want position wise?

  5. Ordered a set and an sl seat etc so may be a case of form over function or my knees my knees

  6. if they're too extreme for you I've got a set of hangers I made which you can try out, and perhaps then if you find yourself a local machinist, I can send them the cad for them to machine a set up from :)

  7. Had Them on both my 750ss and 600ss. lovely bits of kit. Not too sure though with dodgy knees etc :/
