Hello all, Trying to find a tank bag for my SF but not having much luck! Really wanted a GIVI one which connects to the fuel filler cap but turns out they don't make one. Anyone have any experience of them on SF's?
Kreiga tank bra and then you have a choice of bags,,,, Think bags connection do a fuel one that fits , never liked the idea of the bracket left there when the bags not in use personally
Cool, thanks. I only want it for a trip away and like the idea of easily removing it and having somewhere to have my phone and map visible whilst riding. Bags Connection don't do one big enough for the 1100 streetfighter but do for the 848 SF, where is the sense in that? Are the tanks different on between the two?
Just because your bikes not listed doesn't mean one won't fit, the filler must be the same as a 1098 or a Multi, buy just the tank ring first and see if fits.
I have a Givi tank bra fitted to my SF.The Givi tank bag that fits to it is really easy to unclip when you need to re fuel.Great piece of kit and various capacity Givi bags will fit.When I enquired at Givi last year about a ring for the fuel cap they didn't do one.
Baglux do top quality stuff. You have to buy a tank cover to fit your bike and they do a big range of bags which clip onto the cover. If you change your bike you buy another tank cover and the bags will fit it. Had a large and small bag for years very handy. Worth a look but. You can get the cover the same colour as your bike.
I looked into this at the Excel and the reason the Givi one does not fit is because the tank filler cap has the fixing screws under the cover. I am currently looking to see if I can change the filler cap with another model. The Givi filler cap fitting bag is the one I want too so going to exhaust this option before looking at an alternate style
