Going to Spain with the boys for a couple of weeks in May and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good tank bag solution, something that won’t risk the paintwork? I’ll use my 50ltr Ventura system but might be handy to have a little extra space for odds and sods/documents etc. Any suggestions welcomed, thanks.
SW Motech Pro Micro tank bag. You fit a ring to the filler. The bag attaches to the ring. No contact with the paintwork. Small is better.
As above, i.e. mounting ring around filler cap, but Givi Tanklock, have two different sizes. Have worked well for me over the years.
Cheers guys, I’ve decided to order the SW Motech fanny pack, as our US brethren like to say. Want something that comes with me when I hop off the bike to ensure passport/wallet etc safe. Hopefully not too bulky.
Givi tank lock for me too. Dead easy to click on and off. No damage to the tank, highly recommend but the SW Motech system sounds pretty much the same.
