Anybody got any feedback on SFS Performance hoses? Quality, fitment etc. How do they compare to Samco? I've already got Samco on the 853 but can't help thinking they are over priced. http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/prod_bikekits.asp?make=ducati
Just fitted some nice yellow ones to my yellow shed 853R thing. Fit great and cheaper than Samco. SFS also do a cheaper range (around £60). SFS is HEL by the way.
Im happy to be a test monley for silicone hoses. Its not like they are hygeinic PFTE lined hoses as used in the biotech industry are they. They are just plain n simple silicone reinforced hoses. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...8+916+996+BIP+++SP+LXH+Silicone+Coolant+Hoses
Can you justify that statement?. HEL based in Devon, SFS in Bedford. I bought a cheap set as per the ebay listing above and the quality was pants, nothing like Samco. Anybody got a direct comparison?
I have just given you a direct comparison. the SFS performance is the same quality as samco. They allow water to flow at temepratures and pressures suitable for a coolant system in a motorcycle.
The Samco prices, although still pretty high, have come down a little in the last year or so. Well that's what I found when I bought some earlier this year from Demon Tweeks
I fitted SFS hoses to my CBR1000rr (11) and the quality was spot on, as good as Samco and fit was perfect, the price was £80 and I would of bought again, however, had not tried Samco so fitted them to the 1098 and there great also. I would just buy the cheapest of the two options next time
Unless you are racing you don't need "performance" hoses. They have no relevance on road bikes other than being a pretty colour. Tarty......................
Yeah mate, I don't need a 150mph road bike, but I've got one, and if I want to put tart hoses on it, I will, the same as I will clutch covers, fluid covers, pressure plates, double overheard flip-flops with reverse wang bars -
lol, and don't forget unless your racing in BSB, WSB or any other class you don't need a track bike nether....lol Like it
Well try as I might I cannot find any hoses for my 750ss either samco or SFS ! Pants thats what I say
I'll cut them off with my hacksaw, stick them in a jiffy bag and send them off then! Tomorow perhaps
lol if you like mate... some times if you want something then needs must, story of my life... waiting for parts to be made or materials to make them myself.
Forgive me, I'm not sure Arthur has grasped this one - 750ss - hoses - hmm, how's that work then? Come on Arthur, keep up
ive just fitted a set of hel hoses to me 996sps and im well chuffed.and there cheaper than the samco.
