I thought I would share this - having just done 2000km to Germany, Black Forest via Vosges mountains in France. I have had loads of bikes and other than fixed panniers and top boxes have never found anything good. My monster is never going to get panniers or a top box! I bought a hump bag - it was great! really spacious and sat really firmly with just a couple of elastic straps over. See pic.
Cruised at 85, no problems (a fairing would have been nice though!) - I felt it lifting at 130 in one over excited moment!
Glad I chose not to chop my multi in for one, cruises at 100 plus easy all day, important for me when coverimg long distance
Is that the SW Motech cargo tail bag? Thinking of getting but quite expensive - looks like it holds a lot!
Yes that is the SW Motech one. There are cheaper ones around but I am glad I went for this one as well made, sturdy and comes with a waterproof liner. I used rockstraps to secure not the ties that came with the bag, I had these already, v good. Google them.
