749 Shock Compatibility

  1. Hi All,

    I've been searching for a used aftermarket shock for my 749 but I'm not having much luck...

    Apart from 999/749 shocks are there any others that are compatible?

    Thanks for any advice!

  5. Don't bother with that, the description is not correct and it's ridiculously overpriced.

  15. I’ve been looking for a while and there doesn’t seem much around, do you have a recommendation?

    also what’s wrong with Maxton and Nitron? I thought especially Maxton were supposed to be amazing?

  17. Thanks for advice everyone - all things considered I went for the Nitron R2, should be here in a few weeks.

    And @Fire3500 I went for a black spring!

  18. I have a nitron on my 916, didn't want it but it came with it on. It lasts and it is fully rebuildable and can be revalved quite easily too. Lighter than. Öhlins as well, at least for my bike. The turquoise spring is standard I'm afraid.

  19. Yes I don’t really like the Nitron Blue, my bike is black anyway so I ordered a black spring
