anyone used it and care to share experiences? i used to have an xr1000 and was happy with it. need to get a new lid so though naturally of the xspirit although dont want to get the 3 unless its that much better
i have the marquez one. it's my second spirit II and I love them. field of vision is much improved over the xr1000 that i had previously. I have actually ordered my first arai from the 2017 ducati brochure
i started off wearing arai years ago, i only switched to shoei because a local dealer had such good aftersales service. but they are now arai dealers too and being a ducati dealer I couldn't resist. wife isn't happy as this is helmet number 3 x spirit II marquez hornet ds black tour x ducati
im contemplating it but then at the same time ive seen reports of stuff going very cheaply at fairs.. i read about an x spirit 2 going for 250 at the nec show the fairs ive been to in the past have been pretty carp though
i think there could be some very good deals at places like the nec as the spirit II is now an old model. i think i paid £600 for mine with a dark visor back in 2013 when i bought my repsol 600rr.
The X Spirit II has now been superseded by the X Spirit III so there are likely to be some good bargains. IMO it is an excellent helmet and I still ride with one on the road and my Kiyo rep on the track. The new III is a slightly smaller shell in the large so I might have to go up one size and use larger pads. Oh yes, did I say I'm a fan of the Shoei ? Andy
I've used a 2 for a few years but bought an NXR at the NEC last year. The X spirit is a great lid but for road use the NXR is so much better. Lighter and SO much quieter and very stable at speed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think don't quote me the x2 is a 5* lid and NXR is 4* but saying that the NXR is a new design with better features and more flexibility in pad sizes for cheeks and skull fitting also new visor for better fitment and seal

Never use somebody else's old helmet and change yours about every 5 years, I sold a mint X2 for £125 and was surprised I got that for it
