Shoei XR1100 ?

I've had one for a couple of years now, had a few XR1000's before it, and I've gotta say its the best lid I've ever had!

Also had a few top line AGV's, and some other budget lids, but no Arai's, so can't comment on them.

Mine has the whisper strip fitted, but I still wear plugs. It's a great lid!

Love mine in the tricolour colour scheme but then i have a shoei shaped head apparently, cant get on with AGV'S.

 

Like mine as well, bigger than the XR1000 but quieter. Very comfy as well as good vents.

Yep, I've got one too, really comfy and quite quiet with the whisper strip fitted

 

Been using shoei for 20 plus years

This is the worst Shoei I have ever had, very noisey and a real disappointment

also last shoei I will ever buy I am that disappointed with it

 

I`ve also been using Shoeis for around 20 years and due to replace my current one in the next 2 weeks. The xr1100 is definitely one I`ll be looking at but I have to say my currenr Shoei (Raid) is not as well finished as previous ones so I`m also checking out a few others makes this time.

 

very Light, cool when its hot, simply the best i've ever had! Nuff said.

 

Have you tried the whisper kit? I wasn't impressed with the noise levels inside mine until I fitted the kit.

 

Had three Shoei helmets to date, and currently use an XR1100... Superb helmet in every way.

 

Was noise the only issue you had with it? I found it pretty quiet. Besides, I wear ear plugs, so never have an issue with noise levels. I'm more concerned with aerodynamics, weight, anti-fog features and fit, and it deals with the lot perfectly.

 

i use these at work really good helmet well vented whisper kit kills extra noise away, good wide visor for peripheral vision

 

Good helmet .always had arais but seems a good lid .
