Yep that was a spectacular viewing place, I must say I feel sorry for all the peeps who paid to get in, our place was so close to the action, I can still feel myself vibrating:biggrin:
Great day and plenty of interesting planes. Typhoon was the loudest, shame about the Vulcan not being able to make it though as we waited like everyone else to the very end before being told that it was not coming!!! Exiting the car park was horrendous it took 1 hour 17 mins, and for that reason I will not be going there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
^ was a shame about the Vulcan, had a last minute pressure leak according to one of the pilots Rob was talking to
we were at Bournemouth, but didn't get there until 3 so missed most the action, we did see the Hunter, B...something bomber, and the Spitfire, not sure if they had the fast jets like euro fighter etc........ did just over 200 miles on one tank of fuel
It was a fuelling issue. Great shame as the Vulcan would have been cool and I wanted some shots of us and the crew with the bikes in front of the plane but as it was fuel we weren't allowed as close as we got to the rest.
