I haven't been able to use the sc1000s much due to long term illness , anyhows I enjoy the odd wee short runs around local roads. Arrived home today and the sky seemed as clear as it can be in norn iron , garage open and bike out warmed up and away I went.... Woo hoooo ! Bloody class , these air cooled toys are pure fun, I was able with cold tyres to spin the wheel in second on a dry road . The sc lets me enjoy speed at lower speeds of you know what I mean . I'm enjoying the wee ten mile runs. Wheelies over bridges ? Me? Never lol I bet the scramblers are some craic in the same vein as the sc.
Sorry to learn you've not been the Mae West, hope your health takes a turn for the better. Had a nice run on my SC early this evening. Completely agree with you, very nice bikes. GWS.
I hope you get many more runs on your Sport classic Stephen.Very good for the grin factor,if not for the aches and pains factor.I loved mine when I had it,a very addictive bike.If you can't ride it,just dribble over it.
Hey good luck and many more rides too you. After owning many bikes these last fourtey five years my sport classic is the only bike that makes me grin all day,i don't know exactly why it just looks sounds and feels to good for a mere mortal.
I'll be out on my GT1000 soon, doing an IAM observed ride. The organiser is an ex-traffic officer, & when we spoke on the telephone I told him my bike has Termignonis with no baffles. His reply was: "Bring it along & let's have some fun!"
Lovely bike you have there.and a real hoot to ride.Hope you manage to get a few rides on it when you can.
Thanks it's my toy ....I hope never to sell it Need to sort clutch, seem to be drawing in air , time for a new clutch slave. I bought this bike with all the extras I want and some I don't want. Ie sold the short levers etc. I've added a few and have set it up to suit me. Great fun.
Somewhere in Nottinghamshire, there is an IAM Observer who is glad he wore ear plugs this morning. He said he didn't have to keep looking at my feet to see when I was changing gear when he followed me, the Termignonis made it very, very clear. :Angelic:
