Hi folks, currently I am riding an Aprilia Dorsoduro Factory, I am considering the switch to a Hypermotard 1100 Evo SP but I hear there may be a new one released in the near future? I love the Corse version! :biggrin: Would I get a discount of the new price of £11250?

Just been reading through some threads and it appears Hypers are very hard to sell on, so buying new may not be a great idea due to the potential for losing a hell of a lot of cash come resale time!

Hello and welcome. The rumour is that a new 1200 hyper is on the way, which will mean there will be good deals on the 1100. Secondhand makes more sence financially, but there is something very special about owning a new bike and if you don't plan on selling it within two years, who cares about the depreciation
Ello pal. Have you test ridden one yet? I tested one when they came out. Only My opinion, unless you live in a city it's only a second bike. I'd love to have one but not as a first bike, unless I had to get across a busy town everyday. I live out in the sticks so got a 999 but i doo get a calling from time to time to get one so I can a complete tool on it! I had a 848 street fight for a few days, go to say that was a lot of fun ! Till I destroyed it but thats another story!! might be worth looking in to much love
1200 Liquid cooled hyper would be awesome! Well I bought the Dorsoduro new and like you say it is a special feeling, I would have to be getting an awesome deal on one new as £11250 is quite a hefty sum of money for what is just a play thing! No not rode one yet, gonna have to get my arse in gear and go to ride one!
