So I was just checking the operation of the rear shock after the preload error message and before I shell out to swap the shock over and under the rider's seat I found this plug and socket that look made for each other but are not connected. The plug has a small label that says vertical, the socket has nothing. Should they be connected ? Thanks. Andy
Normally yes. The socket part is from the vertical lambda sensor and the plug is it's corresponding connector to the loom. If they're not connected you'll get an error or the dash with the EOBD light lit up unless the bike has had a remap to remove the lambda function.
