  1. I'm after some Showa forks to replace the non-adjustable ones on my US Import CR. Has anybody got anything available please?

  2. Hi Tony, looking at those forks, there appears to be some rust comming through on one of the legs, the upper part of the forks appears to be suffering with damage caused by cables rubbbing, that will be covered by the fairing so should not be visible. My only real concern is the lower slider marks. The price is reasonable but I'd factor in a complete service and rebuild on top.

  3. Well, I got those - is it possible to part the tubes from the bottoms so I can get the tube legs re-chromed? I've seen new tubes for sale.

  4. You could try these, did my Kh250 forks and a few friends.

  5. Yes, I had mine rechromed a few years back when Maxton upgraded the internals. Can't remember who they used though. It was outsourced by them

  6. There is a tiny hex grub screw in the bottom casting, and the tubes have threaded portion that screws in to bottom casting. Both of these can be a real pain to get out/seperate. So I'd look to see how much someone like Maxton would charge to do a refurb.
