Hi, I'm looking for a kit (for my 900ss) to bypass the side stand cutting out the engine whilst in neutral. But I would still like it to cut out if a gear was selected, just for safety. I've found a kit but it's from a company in America, anyone know of any in the U.K. ? Thanks
Never found one yet. Managed to fix mine once I understood how it worked. On my ST4S. Side stand cut out takes away neg. (-) supply to a section of the ECU. By using a diode this supply is replaced with the feed from the Neutral switch
Buy a 999. That's exactly what my bike has. Select a gear with the side stand down and it cuts out immediately
Haven't seen any around for a while either. I used to make them up but haven't done so for years now. The SS was wired slightly different to the rest of the range iirc.
