749 Side Stand Bypass

  1. I've ditched the side stand and need to make a by pass switch as the bike will only be on track and have no side stand. Can anyone say for sure which wires to bridge to make one. I'd like to use the original connector but there's a different number of wires in than out!

  2. My 848 simply shorted the connection at the side stand, literally a staple-shaped wire between the connections

  3. But I have three wires. Can't short them all out. On the dd bike there were only two, easy job just join them together.

  4. Do you know chas? If your friends in fb drop him a line, he's build plenty of 749 race bikes

  8. Lovely looking set of bikes. I was racing endurance at the same time.

  9. There's three wires from the stand, but only two on the loom side connector. Just bridge those and it's sorted.
The LA Stone 749's were prep'd a little further north ;)
