Hi fellow Ducatisti, thought I should say hello from sunny Suffolk though not so at the moment!! Having been a bit of a petrol head from as long ago as I can remember. I've always been interested in anything with wings or wheels and sometimes both! I must confess that I have only ever owned the four wheel variety but have always followed the bikes in motorsports as well as the cars and indeed had some limited success in the late eighties in the BTRDA group N forrest rally championship. About eighteen months ago I convinced my wife that I needed to own a motorbike. Specifically a red one with Ductati written on the side. She pointed out that I didn't have a motorbike licence so about seventeen months ago I passed my direct access and then found myself a smart looking 05 749!! I did a few wrist aching miles on it prior to winter 2015 and then decided to strip bits off to fettle and clean and make better. Anyway here we are Spring 2016 and I'm still in the process of making things bettererer!!!! Hope to bolt it back together and get some miles on this summer. Looking forward to buying loads of things which definitely need from you guys and asking lots of questions along the way. Cheers for now BtheB
