  2. Yank shite

  3. Cool :) Took a bit of balls to drive the charger like that....even if it was only at 40mph :)

  4. I owned a 68' Mustang, regret selling the car. Should have kept it.

They are just a really cool muscle car and massive icons.

  5. Silverstone Classic was on the list of events to do this year......until I saw the ticket prices! I guess they have to charge loads to pay for cheesey ads like the above.

  6. As someone who has owned one, shite doesn't even come close to describing the horror....

  7. I love Mustangs.
    I want one.
The blue Shelby with white racing stripe (of course) I saw on Sat looked magnificent.
I loved the one I rented in the States a year ago.
And they make a great noise.

  8. I used to know a guy who owned a 60s Muzzie, in the 70s. The (drum) brakes were so feeble that if you started braking hard from 100 mph, they had faded away to nothing by the time you got down to 30.

  9. Right hand drive coming to the UK and I want one :upyeah:
Jag can wait till I am older !

  10. I work for ford and we can now take deposits for the new version if anyone interested. Sold one today. V8 version not a baby one

  11. My old mk2 zodiac was like that - slowing from 70 was a two stage affair, first phase at the 1/2 mile mark was to drop from 70 to 50, then the second phase was to do the final stop. If it was raining it was worse, as backing off caused the vacuum wipers to go absolutely mental.

  12.
  13. I can't get anyone other than family a discount. I've only sold 1 so far and I doubt we will sell many more as our demographic aren't mustang drivers around here. No prices or dates yet officially but I heard 2015 delivery and starting from 30k. That price won't be a v8 though I bet. More like 40-45 maybe.

  14. I hired a convertible one in Denver last year and found it slow, plasticky and a gas guzzler. 022.JPG

It did look the dogs bollox tho'

  15. Should have fixed them then! I drive my '65 hard and have never had the slightest hint of fade, and that's with modern, larger tyres. You'd have to take it on track to be able to get brake fade.

  18. My 68 had a V8. The sound of that thing was mental. Drum brakes were fine, never any issue. They are old cars now but you got to love them. The attention it got was embarrassing at times.

Unfortunately you really need the V8.
