I've been doing some reserch into this Sky Hook suspention that there going to fit to the new Multi. I think this is a secret video of them testing for the 2015 upgrade in an attempt to end the off road war with BMW's GS. I Just cant seem to make it out if they are Pirelli Scorpion Enduro tyers. Pakistani Tractor-Talent - YouTube
I rode the new skyhook s version yesterday while mine was in for some warranty work. My first impressions were, like sitting on a bolder compared to mine, the suspension and seat are much firmer. not impressed initially. The engine is noticeably smoother especially in the lower part of the rev range. It now has a hazard warning switch which is a double left click of the left indicator switch. The display in normal riding mode is slightly different as it displays the configuration if the abs, the engine power setting and the reaction control. When I got on the motorway it was obvious the screen offered far better wind protection, keeping the wind off my chest and head. Off the motorway and on to the twisties the suspension shows the benefits of the new skyhook. The bike feels much more like a sports bike offering a firm ride and giving more feed back than the ohlins on my bike. The front forks do not dive so under braking and it does not hunch so much under acceleration. The tires were the originals developed for the bike which felt much better than the road angels I have on mine. Confidence inspiring The roads were mostly wet. There are also little things like the little storage area on the rhs fairing now opens with a little push. Could not find how to operate the steering lock though. One little thing, twice it would not start on the first push of the button! Overall I liked it especially the sportiness of the ride and the smoothness of the engine. Downside not so comfortable, but i guess you can't have it all ways eh!
