On my 749s there are small dots of yellow paint on the red frame near a lot of the major fixings,eg on the headstock, swing arm pivot, engine mounts. Anyone else have these or know why the previous owner put them there?
Bolts and fixings are often marked with a dot of paint to show they have been checked for security during the pre delivery inspection.
Ie the dots mark where maybe a nut is tightened and a small mark on the nut and where it's been tightened too will show if its come loose or moved , where the dots/ marks don't line up
They are from the factory during building, once a bolt has been torqued then it is marked, then its checked during quality control.
