Its such a task to get my Bike around the Back & then turned around to get back out when you want to have a blast that i have built a TurnTable to make life so much easier for me .... It used to take me the best part of 30 Mins & was such a struggle that im surprised i never dropped or scratched it .... Anyhow .. Still needs finsihing off but it works .... & im quite pleased Let me know what you think Cheers Dean http://s445.photobucket.com/user/dfullb/media/TurnTable_zps7b79838b.mp4.html

That looks really good indeed! I would try making a wider one so you dont have to hold the bike upright but I love it as I experience similar problems to yourself. If you hate pushing the thing because it feels heavy/horrible to manouvre then try cleaning your calipers as its very common for the pads to drag if the calipers are dirty.
Looks good, but you do have the emptiest shed in the world! I think you need to buy more toys to fill it before wife fills it with garden chairs!! Then the turntable might not work so well though.....
There is a side stand pad attached to the main runner i was just holding it as a precaution.... As for the empty shed .... That was the first part of the job ... Clearing it & hanging as much as poss on the walls .. Wont be long though before the garden chairs creep back, especially if the weather improves Cheers Dean
Thats a great solution you have come up with there well done. Ive got a similar problem myself, so far ive just put a towel under the back wheel and sort of lifted/slid it round
You could always something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360-Degre...le_Parts_13&hash=item2c68a09c8b#ht_2077wt_986 More expensive than a towel but possibly more secure and safe?
Did your better half think you had severe skid mark issues when she came to wash the Towels :Jawdrop: Quite innovative mind .....
Stang thanks for pointing that out ive never seen a paddock stand like that before, might be worth considering.
If others have the same problem and cant build there own Turntable this is another option for a bike stand.
