Got a flyer and halfway across the Humber Bridge traffic at a standstill. Car has gone over the barrier onto the footpath it's folded in 2 and upside down. Fire brigade trying to work out how to cut him out.Humber Rescue are circling below in case it all goes over the side
I've rode over the Humber Brifge many times and it's always an uneasy feeling with the footpath being well below the roadway to the sides. I never feel quite as safe as I do on other bridges. The barriers always seem quite low too, I've always thought they'd never stop a lorry if one was to veer off.
Wish I had the chance I am parked in the middle at the scene. At least it's a lovely sunset and I can't see our 'ouse from 'ere otherwise i'd be living in Hull and that would make me want to jump but then Humber Rescue would save me and I would still be living in Hull
