Irrespective of the bike, it's a no-brainer during the warranty period. For me, at least.

 

I think Rushjob was alluding to the description of the belts as "Harvested from a 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200S that had unknown mileage and is in good used condition as pictured", and therefore not perhaps worth spending $80 on compared to ones BNIB...

Personally I would not buy used belts....rollers maybe if good....but belts....you need to know how many miles they have done....even then....you're playing with fire, it could turn into Russian roulette and further more you may find you were penny pound foolish.

Would you put second hand brake pads into your bike?....it's a bit like that....
