In the process of stripping the exhaust system off the bike but will be keeping the cans. No pictures yet obviously but seeing what interest people might have in buying this. It's in great condition with no dents, cracks or scrapes. Where I've had the bike mapped there are 2 additional Lambda sensor probe access points although both hidden from view pretty well (see pics of system on the bike) Also included is the carbon fibre heat shield and associated fixings (slight browning on the inside face beneath the seat as is the norm with these) Cannot find another one of these for sale but new they go for £1200 looking around on eBay etc, so offering this at the bargain price of £750 plus postage. Collection in person preferred (Chobham near Woking, Surrey) but I can post if necessary. As always, sensible offers considered. Proper pics will follow once stripped off the bike. Be wary on the fitment , the cans are the same and the headers are the same its the y section that may differ the 1299 is a clamp and the 1199 is a spring clamp, to make this work with a 1299 you will need also need the y section, I have the same problem, I have a full system on my 899 and end cans on my 1299 and I want to put the headers off my 899 on my 1299.

From what I know, its only an issue if he was trying to fit Akro cans with the bolt on "Y" PIPE setup from 1199 to 1299, but I would assume you are including the race Systems Lower "Y" section/pipe that slides/fits into the silencers, in which case it doesn't matter...
I think that's the problem as Sam is keeping the cans I assume he will be keeping the 1199 y section ?
Thanks Ian - you're quite right. I'm in Snells at the moment and just taken a photo of an Akra system they have here - all the pieces will be supplied to make them fit the cans. The difference is, when you buy the cans as a separate entity, you get a Y pipe to connect the cans and 'bolt' onto the stock headers next to the flapper valve
sorted, when you buy the Akra cans only they come with the link pipe Y specific for 1299 or 1199, but when you buy the full system it fits both, I guess you have a spare y section to run the cans with the 1199 standard system.This is the 1299 y section to connect to standard headers.
I'm fully returning the bike to standard, so installing the stock headers and cans, and putting the Akra cans aside for my R
