  1. We have our discs made by some of the companies that make for Nissin and Brembo....namely Sunstar Engineering. Here are some pics, and I have posted a list of all discs we have and it can be used as a cross reference too.

Normal price is £293.75 per pair, we are happy to offer them to forum members at £250...with free delivery

  2. I'd be very interested to know what actual definition is being used for 'offset'.

Most technical information that I have been able to dig up on this indicates the accepted measurement is the distance between the (inner) mount surface and the outer surface of the swept area. I actually think this is a bad idea as disc material thickness affects the offset, but anyway...

According to the above data, a 0 offset disc is flat, but according to the accepted standard I mention above, a 0 offset disc would not be flat. A flat disc would have an apparent offset equal to the thickness of the disc which makes no sense to me.

The only sensible way to measure offset would be from the middle of the carrier where it mounts on the wheel, to the middle of the swept part of the rotor. That would mean material thickness is irrelevant anywhere on the disc and that a 0 offset disc would be basically flat, even allowing for variations in thickness on different parts of the disc.

However, it does not seem as if the manufacturers do it that way and indeed there seems to be no standard way of defining offset. Certainly there is a discrepancy here.
