I have some brand new Rosso III’s on my Panigale wheels which I’m swapping to some Supercorsa’s (which I also have) Question is, would the 200 rear section be ok on the Multistrada? I think it’s been brought up before but I can’t find the thread.
I've never seen that question asked. You may have to mount-it and see. What I have read previously are 190/55 Road 5 rubbing against the chain. Thus, not much room for error. https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/1260-multi-clearance-problem-between-chain-and-tyre.66844/
Just had a look at my 1st gen 1200 and there is less than one of my finger’s width between a 195/55 and the swing arm. I also have an aftermarket exhaust and I’d be concerned about the tyre rubbing the exhaust as well. Andy
It's not just the swingarm, it also raises the question about rubbing on the rear crud catcher, which I've had happen before with a 195/55 section rear tyre....
