Finally sorted out the melting number plate by fitting a tail tidy, integrated rear light n smaller plate :biggrin:
Both light and tail tidy from BS Motoparts, free delivery n delivered within a couple of days. Just select ur make, model n year. Only prob was no instructions with the light but sussed the wiring eventually, main socket just same as Duc one n the 2 others r indicators but when fitting the tail tidy the number plate light needs to be connected or it shows a fault on the tail lamp n little side lights in the headlight.
