Hope somebody can point me in the right direction. I have a Surflex lightweight clutch fitted to my 900ssie track bike, which works really well. Unfortunately the plates were put in the basket when the engine was rebuilt, in the wrong order, resulting in the pressure plate and 1 aluminium friction plate being damaged. (The outer plate was left as a friction not steel). Surflex will only supply plates as a complete pack, and will not supply the pressure plate separately, (£££££££££) so what I need is a source for an aluminium friction plate (as a steel one will damage the ally clutch basket.) I could also do with a few steels as spares so i can adjust the stack height as and when required. I am hoping that the pressure plate is the same as the standar Ducati/aftermarket ones so that is easily replaced but I cannot find a suitable ally friction plate. Any ideas??? Are the Suzuki 650 plates for the wet clutch aluminium does any body know? Thanks guys.
