South west-the heat wave continues

  1. El scorchio today, so resorted to the top of the mendips -altitude-to try and gain some relief from the scorching heat wave weather that continues .... Don't feel sorry for us...

  5. were you on the road leading to the top of Burrington Combe around lunchtime? I clocked a red Ducati coming towards us as we returned from WSM but unless it's a 749/999 I'm pretty bad on knowing what sports bike is coming towards me. Sadly we were in a car.

  6. Possible, not to clear on times, once i had inflated the rear tyre-twice before i set off .......I went up Burrington about 11.00 I reckon, then on to chilcompton, back via Stratton on the fosse , past mendip golf club and then down cheddar.

    Pushbike s were like swarms of flying ants up and around Burrington today....

  7. If you were coming back from wsm, presume you were going up Burrington ? I only went up ,not down....so can't have been travelling towards you.
