Spaghetti Exhaust

  1. They look much nicer than the stock headers but are they a worthwhile upgrade on a 900?

  2. If you're doing major engine mods like high comp pistons etc then yes. if your engine is standard you may get an extra 2 to 3 bhp by fitting spaghettis. From what I've read, if your engine is standard your better off with the stock headers. That said, the spaghettis do look pretty cool.

I bought some sil moto spaghettis last year, still haven't got round to fitting them yet.

If you're still interested speak to @MADASL he may be able to help.

  3. Having read some previous posts the stock headers perform better than they look, certainly opening up the centre crossover only makes things worse, i still have the standard cans on and intended to fit something a bit more vocal, spaghetti is very Italian.

  4. rhubarb, if rub down your stock headers with a bit of wet and dry and polish with autosol they look really good.

  6. They do look good, shame they seem to go brown instead of a nice blue.

  7. I know. They've toned down to a gold/silver colour. Still shine up a treat though. They're made of a low grade stainless from what I've read.

  8. Correct..........and if negelected they will become pockmarked from rust starting..............that's why mine are done in VHT paint.......easier to touch up than laborious polishing.

  9. What does the VHT finish look like?

  10. All depends on what colour you use, I suppose........;)
