service your bike before you go,,, plenty of change for Spanish ( if you go there ) paige as no atm in service stations, and small 1 ltr gas can ( full ! ) in paniers, watch out for Guardia in Sp where on spot £120 fine ( " no posible to continue if you do not pay signoir " ) can dampen your spirits a little...and enjoy ,,, France ? ,, stay dry and get it over asap !!! ps,, in Nov keep well south
Skip France. Catch the ferry to Santander or Bilbao. Book a cabin. Saves squaring off your tyres and boring mile munching through France. However, if you want to tour France and stop off at places...that's different.
