My first proper bike, after learning to ride on a 150 cc moped was a 2005 Ducati 749. Loved it to bit, but sold it due to my job relocation. I am now settled in Singapore, so during covid lockdown, picked up a 2006 999 biposto. It was in a fair condition but needed some TLC. Spent a year working on the bike and added some trinkets. 1. Swapped the suspension for Ohlins front and rear 2. STM Evo slipper clutch 3. Matris damper 4. Monoposto OEM rear frame (unpainted) 5. Lightech bits and bobs (handlebar end, brake protector, reservoir caps) 6. Bonamici rearset 7. Termi slip on - still running the OEM exhaust, didn't get time to swap for the termi post bike inspection. 8. Got a Chinese fairing manufacturer to make the Fila edition for my 2006. Not a bad job, but its a Chinese company, so my expectations were minimal. Cost me 400 quid, I can't complain much. Bike was totally stripped down, did a bit of basic engine work - changed the headers, belts and gaskets. Now looking for some carbon fiber stuff to add on further.
