  1. Well I just hope his recent run of crashes doesn't continue, cos if it does he's not going to be providing much feedback to the team, other than on the survivability of the bike parts!

  2. Next question where does that leave Barbera and Abraham?

  3. I saw the news about Spies on the back of today's mcn. Should be interesting to see Iannone next year, but gotta feel abit sorry for Barbara. Apart from injury problems, he wasnt having the worst of seasons. Doesn't leave any space for tony e either, which is always a shame

  4. Poor sods:rolleyes:

  5. I assume you mean Spies and Iannone? And you're probably right if this year has been anything to go by! Do you think Abraham and Barbera are now thinking" Christ that was a lucky escape" ?

  6. Abraham I thought was going to lease a honda, Elias is not good enough to warrant a place , but Barbera is .
Iannone could be good but spies is also not good enough .

  7. Yes on both counts, I find Spies decision especially baffling seeing as he was rumoured to have turned down the second BMW in WSB alongside Melandri.

  8. All we need is more bikes on the grid, then the merry-go-round wouldn't be so harsh on some of the riders. The sooner CRT bikes close the gap on the works bikes, through development and/or rule changes, the better. At the moment they're too far off the pace for people to invest in them.

  9. Iannone on Ducati? Yyy that guy has a part of brain missing responsible for self preservation instinct .... might be interesting.
I mean it is the same guy that had a nickname Crazy Joe later upgraded to The Maniac Joe and now something with fire?

  10. I bet he feels he has unfinished business. If he quits MotoGP now I doubt he will ever get a chance to rejoin the grid again. Plus there could be a full factory ride at Ducati coming-up when Nicky's contract expires. Good luck to him I say - I think he'll need it

  11. He's been teamed up with 1 prima donna this year maybe he couldn't face riding alongside another one in WSBK. IMHO Spies and Iannone will make a good team both are hard riding, have nothing to lose and for the fans they are good value as they always give it their all

  12. Sounds to me like Ducati have a pretty good line-up for both the works and satellite teams. Let's hope the bikes are up to the job...

  13. Spies in the Ducati 'junior' team WTF!

He didn't quite cut it on the Yamaha....so let some fresh blooded 'junior' by the name of Redding have a go....surely that's the idea of having a feeder team.

  14. You have to question his (non) stated reasons for leaving Yamaha though. It looks like he jumped before he was pushed ?
