Ok problem is when I take a left hander or lean the bike to the left it stutters or splutters not sure if that's the right adjective but anyway,it doesn't do it all the time and doesn't do it when the bike is leaned to the right. Thought it was the tc at first but no lights light up on dash so thinking it may be a fuel problem, any thoughts guys
Have you recently lifted the tank or done any mechanical work? When I lifted the tank on my Triumph (now sold) the fuel line could twist and become trapped underneath the tank stopping or slowing fuel getting to the engine. It could be as simple that the fuel line is trapped somewhere on the left hand side and is pushed close by the weight of the fuel tank "shifting" in a left hand corner. If that can't be the issue, then I'll have to leave to the people who actually now their stuff
Done no work on it myself since I got it so I don't think I have caused the problem, but I am thinking along the lines of a trapped fuel line, next service is due next month so will let Ducati Preston have a look at it
5 min job to lift tank and have a look/make sure its all straight. Unlikely to just happen tho without some other intervention
wasn't joking re the tilt sensor. most bikes have them in case bike crashes it will cut power. if faulty it can cause your symptoms.
