Spoked Wheels For Cafe Race Project

  1. Hi all,
As the subject suggest, I'm currently looking for some spoked wheels for a '01 m600 to finish an existing cafe racer project, please can anyone help point me in the right direction?
    Thanks in advance.

  2. If I had the cash I'd look no further than Kineo wheels. But they may not suit.......and they're pricey!

  3. Central Wheel Components had some gorgeous spoked wheels on their stand at the NEC. Can't imagine they'd be cheap though. If you're going down the cheap route I guess it's just a case of measuring hub widths, spindle diameters, disc mounts, and getting friendly with your local breaker.

  4. Talon do supermoto spoked wheels

  5. Thanks all for the replies. Struggling for the m600 as everyone seems to be doing modern monsters now!

  6. Bump. Kineo refuse to answer my emails and I'm still looking! Tried getting some from Harley and fitting them but they're more tribal than ducatists...!

    Anyone got any other ideas?
    Thanks

  7. I think the Sport Classics that have spoked wheels use fixed inner pad calipers to keep the caliper slim wheel side to clear the spokes. You might need to change yours.

  8. I think husqvarna / ktm supermoto wheels of the same era fit... My husky SM rims fit my duc ss nicely (I don't run them on it) I was curious to see!

  9. Ive got a set of Alpina's and a set of std Aprilia 550 supermoto wheels and will take some measurements if that's any help

  10. Should've said, the Speedo drive is left side with my excel/talon wheels...

  11. I have used a pair of Sport Classic wheels on my 900ss special with 999 forks. I managed to use the 999 calipers by having the backs shaved so they'd clear the spokes. Not a big job at all. Ombra Nera front end.jpg
