There was a yellow Sport 1000 on Ebay on Tuesday and gone on Thursday £6500 - blimey you have to be quick with those things. That's one bike I wish I never sold for £4300 in 2009
Really? Was it listed as Sport 1000? I keep checking eBay everyday (if not few times a day) and I haven't seen one for ages.... That being said I wouldn't pay £6500 for one anyway... now £4300... I would buy two at this price
Oh well... as I would replace half of the parts anyway I'm probably better off building a custom one myself
Yep, knowing my luck I'll buy one for £6500 and the prices will crash, end up selling for £4300 couple of years later..............sound familiar ? bikes eh !!
Lol... Does make sense though - apparently across the pond Sport Classic prices already started falling down slightly.
That was mine ... sold it within 4 hours of putting it on ebay, suppose I could of asked for a bit more for it after the interest it caused, but I am happy with what I got .. 4 years of ownership ,5000 miles and a grand and a half profit .. not bad
Simple supply and demand ... there are more deluded fools who want 'em than there are bikes out there. I was unfortunate enough to have one as a loaner when my got SMIDSYd off my SuperDuke a few years ago. What a crock of shit. Just to think what other bikes you could buy for the same money IMHO of course
I think he is happy with it , he sent me an e-mail saying he was laughing out loud in his helmet after a couple of miles .....its the fun factor !!
I hope not too , looking at a multistrada or maybe a bit of a project , off to the TT for 3 weeks in May so might wait till after then
