Hi, Having stripped the motor out of the frame because the paint was flaking off in sheets, I am not happy with my DIY effort and trying to paint it so wondering who in the Hampshire area would be best to contact regarding a tidy up. While it is out, I would also like a quote for a bit more power and wonder what the best gains are? I have upto £1500 if it means I get a nice looking engine with a some decent ponies back. (The bike already has the termi shotguns + ecu + airbox lid) Alternatively would the engine furr up if I just left it bare ally? It won't get ridden in rain / winter and I am mildly obsessive about cleaning )
ncr can sell you an engine with about 110/120 bhp for about 20/30 k............eek. would love to try a big bore but lots of monies required. you might be better trying an 1100 ds engine . have you looked at the wasp puk?
Try speaking to Mark at MADASL, there might be some internal parts that could be lightened just to help it spin up a bit. Yorkie
You could try WM Snells, Alton, Paul is a great tech who does the blueprinting stuff, they took on the Sigma engine work since Spalding stopped doing it, its winter you may get a deal
