Yes that was what I saw as well, I saw a red and white Multi with panniers a few times it was two's up. What a superb visit, I spent two days at the Cafe and then did the beaches on the 6th. Yorkie
Did 4th 5th n 6th around cafe gondree, ranville etc, couldn't get near the beaches . The 1200 wasn't mine I was on a 1000ds s with gaffs tape on the fairing . Fly past by the lanc was stunning , 8th time I have visited. You on your bike?
I was working and in a car, looking after the Glider Pilots. We did the HRH visit at the bridge then went to Ranville for the memorial service. We had a pass to get to the beaches so no problems in moving around for us. Got a superb bottle of champagne from Madame Arlette Gondree as I left. Yorkie
Good man must have been even more incredible being with the vets. V moving and I believe a fitting memorial to those that didn't leave Normandy .
