Sport Classic Rider

  1. Hi everyone, really happy to join your forum. I'm based in the North West in Cheshire. I hung up the leathers many years ago after riding an old Honda Shadow 700 for a while, then moved onto a ZXR750H1, I still miss that ZXR! Since then I have spent my petrol based hobby time tinkering with cars, that is until a trip to America to visit a mate of mine who has two lovely Ducatis. A crazy fast Panigale and a Sport Classic LE. I loved riding the LE so much I had to get one myself. So I have done.

The current ride needed quite a lot of TLC to get it running and looking the part, but we are getting there now. It has many non original parts on it, wheels, brakes, etc.. , which suits me well as I like to tinker and gently modify things. On this note those who know the Sport Classic will see I have ditched the original rear lamps and indicators to clean up the lines of the bike. I've made some brackets and 3D printed parts to carry l.e.d. replacements, all using original plugs so no messing with the factory harnesses. Plenty more to tell but I'll save that for the SC area..

I've been enjoying a rides out into Wales with a few mates recently which is great fun and good to get back into social riding again.

Look forward to chatting all things two wheels here, and hopefully there are some SC owners to discuss matters about the most beautiful of motorcycles.. ;)
