Can anyone offer any advice, I've just noticed that the sport mode is flashing on the dash and on the quick shifter menu it has error written next to it and the quick shifter is no longer working on my 2018 V4. I've had quite a few instances of not being able to shift up when giving it a hand full but I've just noticed this today when riding to work. I will speak to my dealer but was just hoping that someone may e able to offer some advice.
Hi Andy thanks for the reply. I recalibrate them about a month ago when I had a puncture, does the calibration have an effect on the quick shifter etc. I did have a yellow engine warning light come on a day or so before this current issue but when I turned the bike off and back in again after a few hours the engine light went away. I only noticed this current issue when the sports mode kept flashing and a red error message next to the DQS
Did you have the software recall done ? My memory is telling me there was an update because of issues with the qs on the early bikes. My V4S is a full time track bike and my workshop advised running through the tyre recalibration sequence first thing in the morning and before the afternoon session, every day. PITA but to date, had no problems from the qs. If I was riding on the road, I’d probably do it once a week. Might be worth a chat with your local dealer’s workshop manager, if there is a problem there’s always a chance Ducati might put there hand in their own pocket. Andy
Hi, I’ve just had the same issue, this happened days after my service & tyre change.I recalibrated my tyre & its gone
Hi all, just to.update you on this issue, after I posted this problem I rode the bike home and left it overnight and the problem disappeared and is back to normal now which is strange, I had the same problem a few days earlier with the yellow engine warning light coming on while riding, after leaving it overnight it was gone the next day, the only thing I did which may of caused the problem was I washed the bike with a power cleaner just before I had started having all these issues but I've done this ever since I've owned the bike with no past problems, I've followed your advice and re calculated my tyres to make sure it wasnt that. Thanks for all the replies, I just wanted to update you all and to give some feed back on how things worked out. Ducati gremlins at work again
Story of my life. Should try approaching Coppice at Cadwell at a significant rate of knots for the blipper to shit itself and the bike getting stuck between gears. Turtleneck touching cotton moments...
