1260 Spot/fog Light Opinions?

  1. I'm really starting to think I could use a set of these for night riding.
The main LED lights are fantastic, but as a personal preference I like to have fog lights to throw out some more light down low and not too far ahead. I often use fogs on my car when night driving on country roads with no street lighting etc. Just makes me feel more confident.

So... what's the current consensus on what to buy? There's a lot of choice in the market and I've never had them on a bike before.

    Cheers

  2. I had a pair of Denali D2's on my MTS1200, not cheap, but well worth the price as they are still going strong 8 years later having been swapped onto my Stelvio and now are going on my ST.

  3. The Ducati ones will work on the standard handlebar switch and are pretty good.

  4. Agreed however they do need to enabled by your dealer. In fact I've got a set I took off my 1200 DVT which should fit a 1260 if your interested - not the nice black ones fitted to the 1260 GT but the earlier grey/silver version. PM me if interested.

  5. I like my standard Duc ones on my 1200 Enduro, haven't tried any others.

  6. I have the Ducati ones on a V2S - OK - but not a huge amount extra light - just like a little out wide.

Previous Scrambler I fitted Denali and they had much more output - spot rather than fog.

As said they do work without any hacking abut the harness and the switch is integral

I fitted dealer did the activation at first service for free.
