848 Spot The Difference…!!

  1. So… I’ve had the swingarm, shock, rocker arm, tie rod off and rear axle and hub apart for inspection, clean up and re grease on my 2008 848. Will be fitting new chain and sprockets too. I have downloaded 2008 workshop manual and noticed some differences… main one being the torque setting of 230Nm for both nuts either side in rear wheel section in attached pics, which I believe is for the bigger axle on 1098?? Should be 176Nm for 46mm nut on wheel side and 141Nm for 41mm nut on sprocket side, found this posted by Nelly in a previous post.
Also noticed there are no torque settings for M8 rear disc bolts, presuming same as 748 at 25Nm with loctite??
Also noticed a pic showing access through swingarm for bottom shock mount on the R/H side instead of the L/H…????
Also thread lock on swingarm pivot bushes, surely should be grease C??
Before I start putting it back together can someone with a reliable source check I have the right torque settings etc in highlighted bits of attached pics please.
    Many Thanks.
