Squeaky rear shock

Discussion in 'Supersport (1974-2007)' started by Pits, Sep 9, 2012.

  1. Had an advisory on my MOT that something was a bit slack on my rear shock (750SS Showa MY2000) now my rear shock has started to squeak, so I am guessing that rear shock bearing is going?
What exactly am I asking for as I obviously need to replace the top and bottom ones, but I don't even know what I am asking for.
    Any help is appreciated. :upyeah:

  2. K-Tech are the uk official service centre for Showa equipment, might be worth giving them a call.

  3. is this a carby or injection SS? If its a carby its worth looking around for the longer IE shock to quicken your steering up?

    Two birds, one stone? :upyeah:

  4. It's an injection so already have it, nice thought though :upyeah:, I have fired off an email to K Tech and see what they come back with
    Cheers
