Didn't know it was on, turned up when they were all leaving, took me ages to get in for a coffee It said on the radio they were expecting 500 bikes in Malton, I think they were in for a shock with that lot :Wideyed:
Shame Exige! there did seem to be half of the bikes in Malton that were at Sherburn, that said, I nearly when home when it started raining!
I set off to go on the Panigale and got to cedar court at J39 of the M1 and turned back cos I was absolutely frozen. A perforated set of leathers and summer gloves was not the thing to wear even though it was sunny. So I went home and got the Scrambler out cos it has heated grips, and I got changed into warmer clothing to ride in. So in short, I didn't go.
well, lucky you, a jaunt down the A64 is not my idea of fun, and as for clothing, I was snug in thermals, and cycling shorts under my jeans
I had two sets of thermals on and a fleece over my leathers but the wind was whistling through the perforations. And my hands were freezing too. It was cold out there.
well, it was lovely at Squires, and shite everywhere else, the pani got blathered , and I had to clean it again! The roads were clogged by all the bikes, and the A64 was ground to a halt! Coolant leaks were the norm by Malton and streaks all over the road (not guilty)
