SS 1000 DS - DIY service

  1. Would like to do the service on my SS 1000 DS, but can't find a Haynes or Clymer that covers it. Could it be managed between the Haynes 900SS (frame, etc.) and Multistrada 1000DS (motor) manuals ?

  5. Thanks. I've scoured the web and only found either the Parts (arguably useful) or Owner's (came w/ the bike) Manuals, therefore my decision to try the Haynes route. Only to find the this model of bike isn't covered. Not enough of them around, I guess.

  6. for normal servicing the 900ss manual will be fine

    ie belts, oil changes, cam shimming etc
