  1. Is it possible to run/convert to a dry clutch on a carby 600SS?
If so then how + any pics would be magic coz I'm guessing it's not as straight forward as I think it is :upyeah:

  2. Mr rcv4 is converting a wet 750 at the mo, he may be able to help.

  3. It's possible to do, and has been done, but the question has to be asked - why do you want to??

  4. You do like a challenge don't ya :-D

  5. +1 It might give a nice Ducati rattle, but a wet clutch is so much nicer to use!.

  6. Will a wet clutch that's dry have the same rattle? I must say though it was one of the reasons I bought mine, I wanted two things, that was dry clutch and full fairings, one out of two ant bad!!

  9. It will take less abuse and wear out quicker than a wet one ------------ I reckon.

  10. When everything is up to speed how do you know which rattle is which?
Dry clutch is far superior for that hot uncontrollable effect!
Definately will wear out quicker with the added bonus of the plates sticking together when its been out in the wet!

  11. I have a wet one and I still don't know which rattle is which.......

  12. with a dry clutch you can blame all the noise and rattles on that ....its a dry clutch they all sound like that.

  13. There are those owners who rattle more than the clutch!!
