Price reduced I need to sell the bike to make room for another - so price reduced. Now £1,800. I am reluctantly selling my 1997 SS900 because I don't have room for her. She is a great, well maintained, reliable bike. I have owned her since 2005. She always passes the MoT and has a year MoT now. Mileage is only 22,000 and she has always been kept in a garage. However she is not one for the purist. She has no fairing, a custom seat, a Monster headlamp, higher bars, foot pegs are 3 inches forward and 1 inch down. The front sprocket has 3 fewer teeth than standard so I can ride smoothly at 30mph in 3rd gear. Otherwise she is mechanically standard. Top speed is perhaps 120 instead of 140mph - but I don't live on the Isle of Man. I can ride for 200 miles and get off without wrist ache or back ache. Steering lock is usefully more than standard. I am looking for £1,800, a lot lower than her condition warrants because she is non standard.
