Just noticed the LCD back light no longer comes on, fine during the day but at night I have no idea what speed I'm doing just revs. Anyone had this before? Is it an easy fix or replace the whole unit. Cheers Mike
Not sure about the back light but the main row at the bottom are surface mounted LEDs (My indicator one is duff) I'm hoping to have a play at work next week and see if I can get it sorted. I maybe able to shed a bit more light :tongue: on the subject after a bit more investigation. Cheers Pablo
Have a word with scorpio electronics in Norfolk its the same as the multistrada's very susceptible to water damage
Howdo! Stripped down a spare dash I've got - few pics to show the insides. As Android stated the dashes are prone the water ingress - I shall be sealing mine if I can fix the LED. The dash is held together via 4 small Phillips screws, once removed you need to prize the 2 sections apart (Several internal clips). To split the 2 sections you need to remove the rev counter arm - again this prizes off (Be careful). Then unclip the white clips, the boards are attached via flexible part of the PCB and a metal clip. Cheers Pablo
